Eco-Login is a social enterprise based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, southern India, incubated at the Indian Institute of Technology Madras almost 8 years ago. Initially, the focus was on tourism in remote parts of Tamil Nadu, which led us to connect with the tribals in these areas. This connection eventually led us to explore honey as a product. Feedback from the trial runs indicated a strong demand for raw honey, a common ingredient in Ayurveda. Eco-Login helps market the products of rural and tribal people. In parallel, our NGO, Basecamp, focuses on capacity development among tribals, providing training to ensure product quality. These efforts have enabled us to deliver good returns to our tribal partners, who have come to trust us. Eco-login collection now spans across Tamil Nadu, with plans to expand throughout India.
